G19 Help

I built a Geisler G19 from Husky with their "Iditarod" kit. It all went together pretty well. When I rack the slide and pull the trigger I can hear the click of the firing pin. I went to the range and when I chamber a round the trigger moves freely, but no BANG. If I put in an empty mag, it clicks. What am I doing wrong? This is my first build.

Figured it out! Went back to the range and was messing around with the slide and realized when I racked it to put a round in the chamber, it didn't seat all the way forward. Simple as pushing the slide forward to seat it. Came back home and started YouTubing to see about a fix and I came upon this video

I'll let you know if it works.

Hey, I’m new to this. And I need help because I know I’m gonna run into issues. My trigger housing is a little high, it sits level but it’s still a little high and I’m worried about slide clearance and all the stuff that comes with that. if you guys already know what needs to be done concerning a slightly raised trigger housing please let me know .

I really wanna know how you guys are getting these concentric holes. It seems like no matter what I do at least one hole is off enough to throw everything out of alignment. I’m thinking that the best thing to do would be to drill the holes by hand with a hobby drill/pin vice, not an electric drill. I have a Dremel stand, but it’s not perfect, are your guises Dremel stands perfect? Mine tilts a little bit and so I can’t really rely on it for perfect holes. this would be like $600 in frames by now and I am about ready to throw in the towel. I have a frame right now that’s off just a hair. It would probably work but I’m trying to make something safe and reliable. I really need help.
